Join me on March 25th from 12:00-8:00. The entire clinic will be outdoors rain or shine. Gear list and specific instructions will be sent to participants prior to the event. All topics will include group discussions with immediate practice of those skills. This will be a very active clinic.

The price of this clinic includes 6 hours of instruction, 2 hours of racing and 1 hour of post clinic Zoom review of route choices and lessons learned.

In this 6 hour clinic you'll learn:

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A GREAT TEAMMATE

      -Leave your ego at home

      -Be a more effective teammate

      -Move quicker together (towing, pushing, sharing weight, etc)

      -What to discuss ahead of time to ensure team cohesion and race success 

      -Team roles and how to make the most of your team's assets 

HOW TO GAIN SPEED WITHOUT LOSING ENERGY

      -Cut out wasted minutes during the race (this can accumulate into hours over the course of a long race)

      -Efficient transitions

      -Catch and correct errors sooner

      -Travel quicker on and off trail (on foot and bike)

NAVIGATION 

      -Make efficient route choices

      -Pace count in different terrain

      -How to mark your maps

      -Improve your map reading skills

RACE PREP/EXECUSION 

      -How to pack your pack

      -What gear do you REALLY need

      -How to organize your bin

      -How to pace yourself to finish strong for whether racing by yourself or on a team

We will have a 45 min dinner Q&A so bring your specific questions and favorite snacks.

The 2 hour race will be a foot/bike course with transitions and plenty of route choices. 

In order to get the most out of the post clinic zoom call, make sure you bring a GPS enabled device to record your path during the race for analysis. 

You can add a nighttime 2 hour race with an additional hour Zoom call to any package for $30

The race will be held at 9:00pm in a nearby park on March 25th.
