Betsy Schultz

Assistant Coach

My name is Betsy Schultz and I’m an elementary school physical education teacher (My favorite thing to teach is teaching my students how to ride bikes safely!)

I played Division 1 college basketball and fill my time running, biking, hiking and spending as much time outside as I can. Love to travel and bike tour with my husband. Our favorite trip was 1,800 miles along the West Coast for 5 weeks biking & camping from Canada to Los Angeles.

I am the Vice President of FB4K (Free bikes for kids). This program is amazing because it works to provide bikes and new helmets to kids that don’t have them. We work with local community members to collect used bikes and then we repair them so they are ready for their new owners. Bikes provide so many opportunities for kids and it is so rewarding to help kids leave with a new set of wheels. New bike day is the best day and the smiles when a kid learns to ride on their own is amazing!
