Answers:

1. Tall structures like the Empire State Building are often struck by lightning repeatedly. Estructuras altas como el Empire State Building son golpeadas repetidamente. 

2. "Bolts from the blue" can occur when lightning strikes from clear skies, far from the rain area of a storm. "Tormentas secas" pueden traer rayos sin lluvia y ocurrir lejos de la lluvia de una tormenta.

3. While metal can conduct electricity once struck, it doesn't attract lightning more than other objects. El metal conduce la electricidad pero no atrae rayos más que otros objetos.

4. If lightning strikes a tree, the charge can travel through the trunk and harm anyone beneath it. The heat from a lightning strike can vaporize water inside a tree, causing it to explode.
